Hello Rubyists of Australia, and our friends in other places!

We've recently added a "News" feature to ruby.org.au. While we've had over a decade of history with Ruby Australia news and announcements being made via email and via Slack, unfortunately that information hasn't usually been available on our website, meaning updates weren't always easily shared with other people, or easily found via a web search. That changes today.

Moving forward, we hope that this will help us provide up-to-date information to our community and other interested parties, but in a publicly-available and search-friendly format. Important information will continue to be communicated via email and Slack, but news or announcements will be made here first.

A big thank you to all those who have helped make this feature possible. And fear not - we're still looking at other ways of improving communications across our community.
